       I. R. Nye founded this weekly November 23, 1893 and edited it till
May 1906.  John Englund then edited the paper till 1912 and at this time
Mr.
Nye bought back an interest and edited the paper to February, 1915. Since
1915 Mr. Englund has been the editor and owner.

       Farming is the backbone of this Juneau county town. A flour mill is
located here. The Western Wisconsin Spiritualist camp ground is located here.
This is a real live town with much scenic beauty.
