MORRISONVILLE, 225                                                      DANE
       Though located in the center of a tobacco growing district, this Dane
county town is noted for its dairy industry, its pea and grain raising. Con-
siderable livestock is raised here. Morrisonville has two rural routes.

       T. J. Augustine founded this weekly December 5, 1903 and edited till
September of the following year. W. A, Caldow who followed him, served for
just two years. Charles Eldredge has been editor since 1906.

MOSINEE, 1350                                                       MARATHON
       Mosinee Kraft pap er is the most important contribution of this Marathon
county town. Several cheese factories, and an ice cream factory use the milk
produced on the nearby farms. A good size saw mill is maintained by the Mosinee
Land, Log & Timber company. Mosinee has two rural routes.

       Mt. Horeb ranks among the five richest villages in the 1500 population
class. It is in the heart of the southern Wisconsin dairy and cheese produc-
ing belt. There are splendid opportunities for manufacturing plants. The
town serves a large surrounding territory. Mt. Horeb has five rural routes.
