           Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Renk, it was
           VOTED, That Bernice D. Kuney, emeritus associate professor of
English, 
 Extension Division, be employed on a special service contract, on a part-time
basis, 
 for correspondence English instruction for the period July 1, 1954 through
June 30, 
 1955, at a total salary of P,2,820 to be charged to the Extension Division
195h-55 
 budget. 
          Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Laird, it was
          VOTED, That Don D. Lescohier, emeritus professor of economics,
be employed 
on a special service contract, part-time basis, for the academic year 1954-55;
salary not to exceed j' 3,775 for the year; charge p2,760 to open item for
asst. prof. 
2    p. 67, and ',l,0l 5 to L & S Undistributed Instruction, 195h-55
budget. 
          Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Wanvig, it was
          VOTED, That Oliver S. Rundell, emeritus Dean of the Law School,
be employed 
on a special service contract, on apart-time basis, for instruction in law,
for the 
first semester, 195-55, at a total salary of yi;2,LOO; charge i362 to the
Jackson Law

          Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Renk, fit was
          VOTED, That Mrs. Lillian 1. Gilbreth be appointed Knapp Visiting
Professor, 
Mechanical Engineering Department, for the second semester of 1954-55; salary
 7,500 
for the semester; charge to Knapp Visiting Professors. 
          Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Renk, it was 
          VOTED, That Robert L. Clodius, associate professor of agricultural
economics, be granted leave of absence, without pay, for the period October
1, 195h 
to January 31, l95, inclusive. 
          Upon motion of Regent Gelatt, seconded by Regent Laird, it was
          VOTED That the following recommendations of the Educational Committee
be 
adopted: 
     I.   That the resignation of Gordon Worley, Jr., associate professor
of 
          clinical pathology, be accepted  to take effect July 31, 19$1 .
