                DEATHS
  GEORGE ALMON UNDERWOOD, '75, one of the
leading attorneys of Ames, Ia., passed away on
Dec. 15. He died while asleep, probably of heart
failure.
  Mr. Underwood was born in Kaneville, Ill..
March 25, - 1852. -He attended 'the country-
