   The debate with Iowa was held
 at Madison, May 8th, and resulted
 in a decision of two to one for the
 home team., The question, which
 was on the relative merits of pro-
 tection and free trade under ex-
 isting conditions, was debated
 upon the affirmative by 0. W.

 and.W. J. Hagenah, '03 (closer),
