    The constructive study for costume designing is similar to the 
constructive work of a house. Many houses may have the same 
kind of foundations, rafters and beams, but no two look alike after 
the various workmen apply their individual ideas. 
     If the person reading these pages is one who is interested in 
plays and pageants, he may desire to use the information gained 
especially for designing costumes for that purpose. Great pains should 
be taken in selectinz the material for Larments used for theatricals.
