    There is material for very many interesting lessons in this branch of
the 
subject-lessons also of great practical value. 
    At the same time, there will perhaps be little to shew at the end of
these 
demonstrations. 
    The results will be seen, at first, when the knowledge acquired is applied
to the making of such articles in school as have been the subject of discussion,
and later on in life, when the child has become the woman.
