Note: The minutes referred to under item 14 above were sent to Sec. of Interior with report of Jan. 10, 1866, accompanying the nine treaties with the Sioux. Various reports submitted by the members of the Northwest Indian Commission are filed in OIA, LR, Upper Mo., 1866. The treaties made during that year by the Commission were not ratified. The report of the proceedings of the Commission during 1866 is filed in file of councils and treaties (unratified), 1866.
