Note: Ratification of unperfected treaty of Aug. 29, 1863 (item 1 above), consented to by Senate with amendments by Res. of July 2, 1864. Indians did not agree. See correspondence re this unperfected treaty in OIA, LR, Neosho, 1863-64. Instructions to Dole and Coffin to make this treaty not found. This council of Oct. 18, 1865 (item 5 above), held following date of treaty.
