Suptcy.; no record of receipt in Office of Indian Affairs has been found.)

14. Report of Nov. 29, 1856, made by board appointed by Gov. Stevens to formulate a plan for carrying into effect this treaty, which report followed upon a visit to the four reservations provided by the treaty in accordance with instructions issued Nov. 15, 1856. (Wash. Suptcy., Records Relating to Indian Treaties) Note: A large number of letters from Gov. Stevens urging the extinguishment of the Indian title in the terriorty are found in OIA, LR, Wash. Suptcy., 1853-54. Drafts of many of the letters listed for this treaty and the others made in Wash. Ter., 1854, 55, are found in Records of the Washington Suptcy., Letters Sent to Comr. of Indian Affairs; and other records concerning these treaties, including drafts of letters, drafts of speeches to be delivered in council, etc., are found in these field records in "Records Relating to Indian Treaties."
