1. Benj. Reynolds, Chickasaw Agt., to Comr. of Indian Affairs, Feb. 17, 1834, concerning the bringing of the delegation of Chickasaws to Washington. (OIA, LR, Chickasaw, 1834)

2. Chickasaw chiefs in council to the President, Mar. 7, 1834, authorizing a delegation of their people named within to confer with him re amending their late treaty.*

3. Chickasaw delegation to President, Apr. 21, 1834, requesting that John H. Eaton be appointed to confer with them.* (Endorsement of same date by Andrew Jackson on jacket of this letter directs the appointment of Eaton as comr.)

4. Instructions, Apr. 22, 1834 (OIA, LS, vol. 12, p. 314)

5. Eaton to Sec. of War, May 26, 1834, presenting the articles of agreement concluded with the Chickasaw.*

Note: Supplemental articles to this treaty were signed on the same date.
