Sauk and Fox to Comr. of Indian Affairs, Dec. 13, 1860, agreeing to negotiate with agents of the Government for the cession of a portion of their reserve, with communication of same date from Iowa declaring a similar wish--the lands thus ceded to be used by the Sauk and Fox.
