2. Instructions: Sept. 18, 1840. (These instructions were oral and informal, as indicated in report of Nov. 28, 1840, item 4 above) Apr. 16, 1841, re amendments. (OIA, LS, vol. 30, p. 221-223)

3. Milroy to Sec. of War and Comr. of Indian Affairs, Nov. 19 and 28, Dec. 5, 1840, concerning the treaty cession. (OIA, LR, Ind., M-980, M-1015, M-1020, 1840)

4. Milroy and Hamilton to Comr. of Indian Affairs, Nov. 28, 1840, enclosing treaty and a report of its negotiation of same date.*

5. Sen. Res., Feb. 25, 1841, ratifying treaty.*

6. A. S. White, Allen Hamilton, and Saml. Milroy to Comr. of Indian Affairs, Apr. 4 - June 28, 1841 (five letters), concerning the amendments to the treaty and the assembling of the Indians to consider these. (OIA, LR, Ind., W-1445 with enclosures, M-1114, M-1095, H-881, 1841)

7. Milroy and Hamilton to Comr. of Indian Affairs, May 18, 1841, reporting their activities in securing the assent of the Indians to the amended treaty, which is returned.*
