Label on Tree Graft
This illustrates Mr. Burbank's method of labeling a
graft, in order to keep track of his experiments. The label is
of wood, and the inscription is made with paint or pencil. The wire
attaching the label should of course be loosely applied
to avoid restricting the plant.
