[Abstract]

In his October and November 2008 interviews with Allison Page, Robert M. Lulling discussed his time working for the Forest Products Lab. During his first interview session Lulling spoke of his years of employment at the Lab, between 1942 and the 1977, and included thoughts on his work as a technician in adhesives. In his second interview Lulling elaborated on his experiences at the Forest Products Laboratory, including reflections on the Lab's scientific and social aspects during the World War II period, as well as anecdotes about colleagues and research projects conducted during his tenure at the Laboratory. This interview was conducted for the centennial anniversary of the Forest Products Lab and for use in its comprehensive history.
