[Abstract]

In his June 2008 interview with Allison Page, Roger Rowell discusses his time working at the Forest Products Lab. Rowell spoke of his years of employment at the Lab, between 1966, 1968 and 2007. Included are his thoughts on his work on wood chemistry and teaching at the University of Wisconsin and abroad. This interview was conducted for the centennial anniversary of the Forest Products Lab and for use in its comprehensive history.
