北海紀行。林顯三(1846-1906)著。明治七年（1874）刊。明治六年石川県令内田政風の命により、北海道、樺太を巡回した時の日記。当時の各地の開拓状況についての貴重な記録を含んでいる。全五巻。巻一に彩色地図、白黒図版。付録（これには含まれていない）に多数の彩色地図及び見取絵、アイヌ風俗図あり。
HOKKAI KIKŌ by Hayashi Kenzō (1846-1906). 1874. 5 vols. This is a diary by Hayashi Kenzō who was commissioned by the Ishikawa Prefectural government and explored Hokkaido and Sakhalin. Many color and black and white maps and illustrations accompany the text.
