PLATE IV.
IS a fketch for a circular Cottage, calculated for a Fifherman or Herddfman.
This Fetch was defigned for an open down country near the fea, the figure
an'
form being calculated to give the leaft refiftance to the wind; it may be
built of earth, rubble-ftone, or roots, &c. would be a pretty obje6 feen
from
the Manfion or Plantations, and would coft from i Sol to 20oo.

IS a defign for a Cottage or fmall Farm-houfe, intended for a Gentleman
in.
ihe New Foreft, Hampfhire, and as an objed to be feen from his Manfion:
it was propofed to have been built of pif6, and rough-caft or fluccoed, had
the owner lived to have had it executed: to have been finifhfed in a plain
fimple
Cottage or Farm-houfe flyle,. would amount to 2ool. or thereabouts.

IS a defign for two Cottages, having the appearance of one building: thefe
may alfo be built with the fimpleft- materials, as before defcribed. The
front
and rear have the fame elevation, which is well calculated for neatnefs within
the
pale of a Gentleman's domain: finilhed in a comfortable Cottage efyle, will
amount to 30ol. or thereabouts.
N. B. This Double Cottage may be confiruded as one, and would be a
very comfortable dwelling.
