caisson, est plante de fleurs et surmonte par huit
colonnes couroilnees par des aigles supportant la
couverture; les guirlandes suspendues entre les co-
lonnes sont soutenues par ces aigles.

upon it stand eight columns, crowned with eagles,
supporting the roof. The garlands suspended between
the columns, are upheld by the eagles.
Dieses Lleine Gebaemde 1st auf elnem achteckigten Grand
erricbtet; die Grundmauer ist von Quadersteinen, sie stellt
eine Kiste vor, worinn Blumen gepflauzt sind und worauf
vier Saeulen ruhen, welche mit Adlern geziert sind die das
Dach tragen. Die Blumenkranze, welche zwischen den Saculen
hlengen, werden von diesen Adlern unterstiizt.

Cette clhaunuiire est etablie pres du theatre Vert;
elle sert a la decoration des pieces que l'on joue
sur cc theAtre. La construcGioR du rez-de-chauss6e
est en briques et bois brut; le premier &tage est re-
vAtu d'un crepi de couleur. L'escalier que lFon voit
de cote est de bois en grume et tres-bieu' ajuste. II
est A l'usage des comndiens. Tout est parfaitement
en harmonic dans cc petit bAtitnent.

This cottage is built near the green theatre it serves
for the scenery of the plays acted upon that that theatre :
The ground floor is of brick, and wood in the rough;
the walls of the first floor are overlaid with coloured
rough cast. The staircase, which is seen side -wise,
is of wood with its bark on, and very well wrought.
It is for the use of the actors. Every thing is in perfect
harmony throughout this little bailding.

Diese Strohhutte ist ohnweit dem griiunen Theater errichtet;
sie dient als Theaterwaud zu den Stucken welche aufgefuhrt
werden. Das Erdgeschoss ist von Backsteinen und rohem.
Holz erbaut, die Wennde das ersten Stocks sind mit farbi-
gem Kalk beworfen. Dis Treppe, welche man auf der Seite
sieht ist von unbehauenem Holz, und sehr wohl angebrachtt,
sie dient zum Gebrauch fur die Schauspieler. Alle Theile
dieses Gebaeades stimmen vollkommen mit dem Ganzea
iiberein.

vent of Masmunstre, in Alsace. The plan n.f i con-
sists of a cool green house, and of a hot-house (the
cool one 4 is to the north, the hot house B is to
the South), and of two closets, one for the libraty,
the other for the depository for plants, flowers rend
seeds; n.f 2 coping crosswise, which shows the manner
in which the stoves are disposed for heating the hot
house; n.0 5 south front.
This edifice was built according to the plan drawn
by the gardener of the convent, It is built of stone
and brick, raised upon a base so as to prevent humi-
dity, an inconvenience which prevails in all hot houses
level with the ground, and which prevents the free
circulation of the heat through the tunnels.

Saamen bestimmt; n.- S Durchschnitte in der Mitte, wo
man die Einrichtung der Ofen sieht welche beyde Gewaechs-
hauser heitzen; Aussenseite gegen Mittag.
Dieses Gebaeude ist nach der Zeichnung des Xlostergawrt-
ners, von Holz und Backsteinen erbaut; es ruht auf einer
4rundmauer urn die Feuchtigkeit zu vermeiden; ein Fehler
dtmn man beinahe in allen Gewaechsbausern die in horizon-
talctr Linie mit der Erde gebaut sind, antrifft, weil dadurch
der VJinlauf der Wwraie in den Rwhreu verhindert wird.
