Voire, style egyptien.
Ce petit monument est d'une heureuse compo-
sition, la decoration est d'un bon gout. Les trois
figures assises, de chaque cWt6, sont sculptees en
bois, et le reste, qui forme le decor des nontans et
leur entablement, est peint en diverses couleurs.
La coquille, attelee par deux cignes, et qui forme
la chaise, est de to6e peinte.

IN.O 2. Jeu de bascule pose sur quatre hommes
assis, supportant un petit globe servant pour le
mouvement de la bascule. A B vue des details de
face et de profil, C vue du cote du si6ge de la
balancoire et de son assemblage.
Height of a swing in the egyptian (n.f i ) style.
This little monument is of happy contrivance, the
decoration shows good taste. The three figures seated
on each side the posts are sculptured in wood, and
the rest, forming the ornamental part and the entabla-
ture, is painted in various colours. The shell, drawn
by two swans, and forming the seat, is of painted iron.

Dieses kleine Monument fit sehr wohl compoonirt, die Ver-
zierung ist von gutem Geschmack. Die drey sitzenden Figp-
ren von jeder seite, sind in Holtz gehauen; das abrige, wel-
ches die Verzierung der Saulen und ilhr Gesims ausmacht,
ist mit verschiedenen farben gemahlt. Die Muclcel mit
zwey Schwanen bespanut, die ae sits ilent i yvon ge-
mnahiteu Eisenblech.

N.f 2. Andere Schauckil, welche auf vier Sitzenden Figui
ren ruht die eine kleine Erdkugel tragen, welche zur Bewee-
gung des Schlaghalkens dient.

Plan, le'vation et coape d'un jeu de quilles en
architecture perse.
Ces jeux sont beaucoup en usage chez les Alle-
mands, onu les hommes se rdunissenL pour faire une
partie agreable.
Cet edifice est d'an style elegant et leger, con-
venable a l'usage de ce jeu. Le rez-de-clhaussee est
compose de deux salles: la premiere sert a la rea-
nion des joueurs; la seconde aux raffraichissemens.
I1 y a deux galeries de communication  A  A, des-
tinees a faciliter le service; elles sont disposees aussi
pour servir de promenoirs, afin que le jea de quilles
B puisse rester entierement libre. Dans le second
salon on a etabli un petit escalier a vis pour la

These grounds are much in vogue among the Ger-
mans, where men unite in agreeable parties.
This structure is of an elegant and airy style, suited
to its use. The ground-floor is composed of two rooms,
the first is the play-ground, the second is for refresh-
ments. There are two galleries of communication A ,4,
for facilitating the service and for walking, that the
ninepin ground B may remain quite free. In the second
room is a little winding-stair case for the purpose of
communicating with the first floor and the terract
where one takes the air, and which leads to the pavi-
lion over the first room. This ninepin-ground is built
of wood and bricks.
Grundriss, Aufriss und Durchschnitt eines Xegelspiels
von Persischer Bauart.
Dieses Spiel ist in Deutschland sehr gebrauchlich. Dos
Gebaeude von Hioltz und Backsteinen ist in leiebtem  und
niedlichen Styl. Das Erdgeschoss hesteht aus zwey SAM
der erste dient zur Zusammneakunft der Spieler, der zweyte
zu den Erfrischungen. Es stossen zwey Galerien  AdX  dtan
welche mur Bedienung des Spiels bestimmt aind, und za glei-
¢her Zeit zu Spatiergaengen dienen, damit das egeispiel B
ganz frey ist. In dem zweyten Saal ist sins Heine Wendel-
treppe angebracht, welche an den ereten Stock end an die
Terrasse stcest wo man frische Luft schipfen kenn, Una welche
zum Pavillion iiber dem ersten Saal fart.
