Cic cahier contient les plans, coupes, elevations
et details de divers monumens et fabriques, tant
projetes qu'executis en 8of5 et x8o6, pour l'em-
bellissement d'an jardin pittoresque 'a Valence,
appartenant a S. A. le prince de Bdnedvent.
Par feu Renard, architecte de son Excellence
le ministre des relations exterieures.

Plan, elevation de la facade principale de celle
laterale, et coupe d'uu temple egyptien, servant de
salle d'assemblee.
Ce monument, outre le merite reel de la verite
et de la purete du style, a celui d'&tre extremement
soigne dans ses details. Ce qui ajoute encore a sa
perfection, c'est le gout avec lequel l'artiste a su
employer et distribaer les differens ornemens et ca-
racteres qui constituent ses decors exterieur et inte-
rieur, avec lesquels il est d'ailleurs parfaitement en
harmonie.

Plan, fagade sur le jardin, celle du cote de l'en-
treo et coupe sur la ligne xy, d'un pavilion pittores-
que et d'agrement construits en bois et briques, ren-
fermant un vestibule au fond duquel se trouve un
escalier, et distribuant a droite et 'a gauche I des
salons de jeuix, desquels on communique A uue

Tnss sheet contains the plans, coping, height and
details of sundry monuments and structures, both pro-
jected and executed in the years i8o5 and i80o, for
the embellishment of the picturesque garden of his
Highness the Prince of Benevente.
At Valence, by the late Mr. Renard, archi-
tect to his Eminence, and to the minister for foreign
affairs.
Plates IX and X.
Plan and height of the fore and side fronts, and
coping of an Egyptian temple, serving as an assembly-
room.
This monument, beside the real merit of the truth
and purity of its style, has that of having had the
greatest care bestowed on the most minute parts; and
what greatly adds to its perfection is the taste with
which the artist has distributed the different orna-
ments and figures which constitute its exterior and in-
terior decorations, the whole in perfect harmony.

Plan, front toward the garden, and that on the side
of the entrance, and coping on the line X Y, of a
picturesque pleasure pavilion, built of woodandbricks,
containing a hall, at the end of which is a stair-case,
and leading from the right and left to rooms calcu-
lated for play, from which is a communication with
ZWEYTES HEFT.

Aufriss der Vorder-und Nebenseite, und Durschnitt eines
aegyptischen Tempels der zu einem Assemblee-Saal dient.
Dieses Monument , in einem wahren und reinen Styl
erbaut, ist in seinen Details mit dem grcessten Fleiss aus-
gefuhrt. Was besonders su seiner Vollkommenheit beitraegt,
ist der Geschmack und die Harmonie mit welcher der Kunstler
die verschiedenen Zierrathen und Characterseichnungen,
die die aeussere und innere Verzierung ausmachen, anzu-
wenden und zn vertheilea wusste,

Grundriss, Aussenseite auf den Garten, Seite des Eingangs,
und Durchschnitt auf der Linie x y eines von Holtz und
Backsteinen erbauten pittoresken Pavillons, der eine Haus-
flur enthwlt, in deren Hintergrund eine Treppe befiudlich
ist, die rechts und links zu Spiel-Saelen fuhit, welche mit
einem  grossen Tanzsaal, der ausserdem  mit zwey eussera
Aiangeu     ygtcssheu ist, la Verbiadung stehen.
