This defign is eftimated at 3400/.
N.EB. Some of the eftimates for Cottages may appear high; but as I have con-
fidered all the timber work to be of fir fcantling, they are not foo; it
fre--
quently happens that very flight fticks, and even boughs, are often ufed-
to
thatchon, and for inferior purpofes, and other cheaper materials ufed.
Under
fuch confiderations, they may be built much more reafonable, according
to
local circumftances.
