The pieces 1, 2, 3 are glewed to the rail a to make the twist part of the
rail, c is the block for the eye of the rail.
The curtail step and rail stretched out to find the length of the newel and
banisters under the twist the measures taken by the scale the rail &
step stretched from a to b.
