The Practical House Carpenter; or the Youth's Instructor. Containing a great variety of useful designs in carpentry and architecture; the five orders laid down by an entire new scale; with frontispieces, stair-cases, and mouldings at large, for practice, with their proper Embellishments; plans, elevations, and sections for town and country houses; hot houses, green houses, coach houses, and stables; a design for a church, plan, elevation, and section, two ways, with an altar piece and pulpit. Two designs for gateways and lodges, designs for chimney-pieces, vases, shop-fronts, a finished section of a dining-room and library, with several other embellishments, ceilings, &c. to which is added, a list of prices for materials and labour and labour only.
