HE    Wifdom and Power of God are mnanifel to all Rational
Creatures, from a Contemplation of his wonderful Worhs in
the Creation of this World: He hath formed every Beai of
the Field, Bird of the Air, and Fi#h of the Waters: He
hath al/o formied every F'ree and Plant: 07Yorl? friaA  hTZd-
was made by Him. AIl that the Earth, Air, or W~aters produce were
created by God's Power. Now Man being the only rational Being in this
Wforld, it feemeth plain by natural Light, that the Dominion of all
Creatures was given to him by God; therefore fince Man's Ohligation to
God is greater than that of any other Creature, his A5s of Humiliation,
Adoration and Gratitude ought to be in fome degree proportionable to the
Favour and Benefits he hath received.  Amonjil the many Ads of Gra-
titude we owe to God, it may be accounted one, to fiudy and contemplate
