Planche LXXIII.
CE cahier forme la troisieme et derniere feuille
du plan general du parc du prince de Montbelliard
et indique une partie des fabriques qui y sont exe-
cutees et dont la suite se trouve au onzieme cahier.
Planche LXXIV.
Elevation du grand rocher en pierre brute qui
formoit autrefois l'entree des carrieres. On a elv
sur cette grande ouverture, un temple d'archlitec-
ture moresque, servant de salle de r6union oi; l'on
vient prendre le frais dans les grandes chaleurs
d'et6.
L'elevation de ce monument est d'une bonne com-
position; la richesse de la porte, l'elegance de la
frise et de son entablement, dont le style est rai-
sonne, donnent beaucoup d'agrement A ce genre
d'architecture. Sa construction en pierres blanches
et briques produit un bel effet.
Le rocher de couleur rousse foncee est garni d'ar-
bres et de verdure. Les passages que l'on voit de
chaque c~t6, soutenus par de gros piliers en roche
brtte naturelle, servent de degagemens a droite et
a gauche de l'6tang.

Plate LXXIII.
Tfis number contains the third and last sheet of
the general plan of the Prince of Montbeliard's park,
and shows part of the fabrics which are there erec-
ted, and of which the remainder will be found in
the i x.th number.
Plate LXXIV.
Height of the great rock in rough stone, formerly
the entrance of the quarries. Over this large opening
has been erected a temple of moorish architecture,
serving as a room for company to come and enjoy the
cool during the summer heats.
This monument is of a good form; the richness of
the door, the elegance of the frize and entablature,
the style of which denotes judgment, give great charms
to this kind of architecture. Its construction in white
stone and bricks produces a very agreeable effect.
The rock of a deep reddish colour, is decked with
trees and verdure. The passages which are seen on
each side, supported by great pillars of rock, in its
natural state, serve for passing to the right and left
of the fish-pond.

von die ubrigen im elften Heft zu finden sind.
Tafel LXXIV.
Aufriss des grossen Felsens aus roben Steinen, der ehe-
mals den Eingang des Steinbruchs ausmachte. Uber dieser
grossen Ofnung bat man einen Tempel von Mobrischer Ar-
chitectur erbaut der zu einem Versanomlungs-Saal dient wo
man bey der grossen Sommerhitze frisebe Luft schoepft.
Der Aufriss dieses Monuments ist sebr wobl componirt;
die Kostbarkeit des Thors, die Niedlichkeit der Borten und
des Gesimses, dessen Styl gut studirt ist, dieses alles giebt
dieser Bauart einen besondern Reitz. Die weissen Steine
neben den rothen Backsteinen thuen eine sehr schcene VVir-
kung.
Der Felsen von dunkelrother Farbe ist rings herum mit
Biiumen und Gestrauch umgeben. Die Durchgange welebe
man auf leiden Seiten siebt und welche durch grosse Pfeiler
VoI naturlichen rohen Felsenstucken unterstuzt sind, dienen
rechts und links zum Ausfluss des Teichs.
