ANGLO-AMERICAN POTTERY.
THOMAS GODWIN.
Contemporary with the Jacksons. and one of their neighbors,
was Thomas Godwin, of Burslem Wharf. He issued several
American views, belonging to the same period. These are gen-
erally marked "T. Godwin Wharf," a combination of name and
place which has occasioned some confusion in the minds of col-
lectors as to the name of the maker.
