Mississippi
Had 4; one in each of the countes of
Choctaw, Hinds, Tishemingo, and
Wilkinson.
LOUISIANA
Had 2; one in each of the parishes of
Baton Rouge and Jefferson.
TEXAS
Has no Cotton-mill, but some Cotton
Cloth has been made in the State
Penitentiary.
ARKANSAS
Had 2; one in each of the counties of
Pike and Washington. Both make
yarns.
TENNESSEE
Had 30, distributed in the following
counties: Lawrence, 6; Franklin, 3;
Gibbs, Hardin, I enry, and Alclinn, 2
each; Bedford, Blount, Carroll, Gib-
son, Hardeman, Hickman, Jefersou,
Lewis, Lincoln, Meigs, Roane, Sum-
ner, and Warren, I each.
