DICK DALEY
By James Hazard
a theatre of the page in several scenes
being performed at the Present moment
A tape recorder is on stage. Performance begins as it is tuned on.
A female voice repeats the words "Dick Daley" incessantly, and
un-histrionically. In making the tape variations, her physical
circumstances may be experimented with to affect subtle changes
in the speaker's delivery. In no case should experimentation interfere
with her actual articulation of the two words.
At the back of the stage hangs a 4x6 foot piece of white card-
board painted to represent an unmarked ballot.
It will remain in the background throughout the entire performance.
