fnc e PROFESSOR UW-Madison Department of Art: 1986- AREA: Prints, digital media, video 1965 MFA University of Wisconsin-Madison 1962 BS University of Wisconsin-Madison The video "Red Rover" reflects a part of my life in rural Moscow Township-roadkills, increasing road traffic as our population explodes, the endless fall deer hunt. We are part of the designated cir- cle drawn on the state map by the DNR to search for deer with Chronic Wasting Disease. The kill goes on and on, but not for food. "Sport" is no longer served. Species are joined, entwined-deer and man both endangered. Livestock have a certain life ending, but my backyard deer play blackjack at the MGM Casino of life and death. The term "wild" ceases to be. 46
