Dear Aldo:
Upon my return from Denver, I find that Miss Quee
forwarded a check for $500 to apply on the first quarterly payment
on the Pelee Island Project. Here is a check for $465 to cover the
balance due at this time. The following quarterly installments will
be made at three month intervals.
We are pleased to know that Mr. Stokes will be on hand
to collect the hunting season data this fall and we hope that Mr.
Harkness has been able to provide housing facilities.
Doctor Gabrielson is pleased to know that this project
is underway. He and I read the Pelee Island article in the Canadian
magazine "Silva" and we are enthusiastic about the prospects of
this
investigation.
I looked for you at the International and American Fish-
eries meeting in Denver and if you do not get to the Midwestern meeting
in December, then you must put in an appearance at the Thirteenth Con-
ference in St. Louis.
Sincerely,
C. R. Gutermuth
Vice-President
